Our late-June shipment has arrived, has been unpacked, and has been photographed.
The shipment contains predominantly tribal pieces from Iran, with highlights including:
- a good selection of Yalameh, including some narrow runners and two 7' x 10' area carpets.
- a wonderful multicoloured 3' x 6' Gabbeh containing rows of women clasping hands.
- a great variegated Loribaft Gabbeh in shades of blue.
- an unusual Sharbabak, which would be stunning in a kids room - animals, birds, cities and trees of life give this rug a ton of interest.
- a 1930s Bakhtiar, 10' x 13', with a Garden Panel design, in excellent condition with nicely muted colours.
