We will be lauching a new collection at IDSWest this year: the Solstys Collection, hand-knotted carpets inspired by photography.
We look forward to seeing you at our booth 818, in the central area of the show floor.
Hours for the show are:
Thursday, September 27th 2012 : 6 pm to 10 pm.
Friday, September 28th 2012: Trade-only 10 am to 4 pm. Public: 4 pm to 9 pm.
Saturday, September 29th 2012: 10 am to 6 pm.
Sunday, September 30th 2012: 10 am to 5 pm.

We have just received two full-size pieces, as well as a set of samples from Creative Matters' Art Day Collection. Creative Matters holds full-day creative sessions for their designers throughout the year to inspire them and to allow them to think laterally in terms of design and colour.
The results were so successful that a whole collection was based around the work created during these Art Days.

Gabbeh Collection
Many of the recent website posts have related to our contemporary pieces, but we do continually look out for interesting traditional and tribal pieces as well.
Great pieces have been hard to find lately, but we have just located some beautiful semi-antique Gabbeh pieces on our most recent buying trip, along with some nice smaller Loribaft Gabbehs.
The older pieces possess a beautiful raw quality, with great natural colours and uneven whimsical patterns. Two of the pieces are almost shag-like in nature, with a loose weave and very long pile.

We are participating in IDSWest again this year - the opening party kicks off tonight!

Diurne Shown at Rolls Royce Event

Earlier this summer, we were thrilled to collaborate with La Scala, Rolls Royce and Tom Lee Music for an event at the new Rolls Royce Showroom in Vancouver.
A beautiful 9' x 12' carpet from our Parisian supplier, Galerie Diurne, was placed underneath a Steinway & Sons Series D piano, decorated with a Haida motif.
The Diurne carpet in a stunning green is from Diurne's artistic Series collection. The pile is a combination of wool, mohair and 65% silk.
