After three months closed for renovations, we are finally open.

As before, we are open from Tuesday to Saturday from 11 AM. to 5:30 PM. And by appointment on Sunday and Monday.

We look forward to seeing you in our improved and updated new showroom.

idswest08 The IDSWest show was a great success for us, and we made many great connections with retail and trade clients. Thanks to all of you who stopped by our booth and said hello.

At the tradeshow, we exhibited mainly pieces from our contemporary collections. Barbara Barry's new line, Radiance, received a lot of attention, particularly the Sequins design (shown in the image to the right). The mix of wool and silk really adds to the textural feel of this carpet.

The Kimono collection by Diurne of Paris was also very popular (two pieces shown on the floor). These pieces are inspired by historic Japanese Kimono prints, which the artist Marcel Zelmanovich has interpreted into his contemporary carpet designs. If you have not seen them at the show, please drop by our showroom to view the original images on which these great carpets are based. We will be adding more information on this great line and Marcel Zelmanovich's other collections to our website shortly.

Our showroom is set to open later this week - we are just putting the final touches on, so we look forward to seeing you in our brand new space!

Western Living Ad, Mar 08We will be exhibiting again this year at IDSWest, Vancouver's premier residential design event. The tradeshow will be held at the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre from March 19th to the 22nd, and is open to the trade as well as to the public.

At the show, we will be launching an exclusive new line by Barbara Barry called "Radiance", a collection of eight beautiful designs in multiple colourways. These exquisite Tibetan carpets, some a blend of wool and silk, are knotted by Tufenkian Artisan Carpets. Come see us in booth 700 to view samples of these wonderful carpets.

The tradeshow also marks the launching point for our newly renovated showroom. After a two-month renovation, we will re-open our doors right after the show, on Tuesday March 25th. Our booth at IDSWest will give you a glimpse of what to expect when you visit our new space.

We have started the renovation of our showroom as of today. While the renovation is taking place, we will continue to serve you through our in-home consultation process. We would be happy to meet with you in your home to discuss your specific carpet needs.

Barbara Barry Arching LatticeWe are pleased to announce that we are now carrying Tufenkian Artisan Carpets. Tufenkian produce a wide variety of Tibetan carpets, in modern, traditional and arts & crafts styles.

Particularly interesting is the Tufenkian Designers' Reserve, a collaboration between Tufenkian and renowned designers such as Barbara Barry, Kevin Walz, and Clodagh.

Tufenkian also allows us to offer a variety of custom options, should one of the stock sizes or styles not suit your particular decor.

We have received an additional shipment from the Milano line of modern carpets in smaller sizes. The new arrivals are available in 2' x 3', 2.5' x 4', 3' x 5' and 4' x 6', to complement the earlier shipment of 6' x 8' and larger carpets.

We are working on photographing the new shipment now, and will have images available soon.

Milano CollectionWe have now posted some images from the Milano Collection shipment which arrived last week.

We have a good selection of pieces in earth-tones, ranging in size from 6' x 8' up to 10' x 13'.

Some of the carpets appear to have similar designs as the Persian Loribaft Gabbeh, but the wool and texture is quite different, so it is yet another alternative for those of you looking for more modern options.

Price-wise, these carpets are also great value, with 6' x 9' sizes starting under $2000.
